Teeth Whitening
What kinds of stains will teeth whitening remove?
Teeth whitening will remove stains caused by consuming dark foods and beverages, even smoking. It will not remove stains on fillings or stains caused by cavities. It will not whiten fillings or other dental restorations.

What is the difference between in-office teeth whitening and take home whitening?
In-office teeth whitening is done in the dental chair and takes less than an hour. Results are immediate. Take home whitening is done at home. A custom made whitening tray, whitening gel, and specific instructions will be given to you. Take home whitening results may not be immediate. Typically, we will ask that you wear the trays with whitening gel a few hours a day for up to two weeks.
